We are a New York State certified home inspection company that stands behind our work.  We are licensed and insured and our specialty is working with new home buyers. During our home inspection we will describe each system as we inspect them and provide a brief tutorial on what warnings signs to look for going forward and maintenance tips for your specific system.
With every complete home inspection, you will receive:

  • 24 Hour Electronic Report including photos for you and your attorney
  • a HUD certified termite report (most mortgages require this),
  • The use of a drone (if required and possible) to view the roof from above.
  • The use of thermal imaging to help detect non naturally visible wet spots on walls and ceilings.

What Does House CheckUp Inspect?

We will inspect all readily accessible elements of the home, including:

Central Heating System

Structure

Foundation

Central Cooling System

Insulation

Interior Elements (walls, ceilings, windows, doors)

Roofing

Interior Electrical System

Interior Plumbing System

Exterior Siding

Built-In Kitchen Appliances

Decks & Porches

We start the inspection process with an examination of the external elements of the home, which include the roof, siding, grading, porches, decks, patios, garage, etc. We then proceed into the home, checking and testing the heating system, central cooling system, hot water system, plumbing and electrical systems. We finally proceed to the kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. Throughout the entire process we take notes and photos of any issues that we find and email you the report with photos that same day or the next morning.
